About the Insurance
Assured:
Individual or legal entity owning a Road Passenger Transport Company.
Coverage:
Material/bodily damages, moral/esthetic damages, and personal accidents.
Covered Perils:
Civil Liability of bodily and material damages, esthetic and moral damages, accidental death, permanent disability due to an accident, luggage, and others.
Beneficiary:
Passengers, crew members, non-transported third parties, and/or their legal beneficiaries.
Claim:
Damages caused to passengers, crew members, and non-transported third parties of which the Assured is accountable of, according to Policy’s coverages.
Indemnification:
Reimbursement of costs due to damages provoked in traffic accidents by the insured vehicle and under the Assured responsibility.
SUSEP Circular No 621/2021 – Art. 5: The insurance proposal and contract conditions shall inform, in accordance with the remaining requirements included in current regulation, the following:
I – the acceptance of the insurance proposal is subject to risk analysis;
II – product registration is automatic, and does not indicate approval nor
recommendation from Susep; and
III – the policyholder may verify the status of both the insurance broker’s registration and the insurer’s registration at the website www.susep.gov.br.
