This insurance indemnifies real estate or goods owners or users for their loss, or for the loss of the capacity of generating income (profit), whenever the loss or damage are caused by any covered risks, according to a variety of goods insurance options.
About the Insurance
Assured:
Person, organization, or entity who, having insurable interest, acquires the insurance, that is, any person or company listed on the policy contract.
Coverage:
Compensation for the assured’s Legal liability judicial costs, following material damages and bodily injuries caused to a third party.
Covered Perils:
Legal liability of the assured for material damages and bodily injuries caused to third parties.
Beneficiary:
Person or entity legally designated to receive the benefits from your insurance products.
Claim:
The occurrence of a risk covered by the policy, when damage caused to third parties generate costs due to legal disputes.
Indemnification:
Payment or reimbursement, up to the maximal limit on the insurance policy (or up to the maximal indemnification limit per acquired coverage), of the amounts the Assured was sentenced to pay to injured third parties, and/or spent trying to avoid the occurrence or to its consequences.
SUSEP Circular Nº 621/2021 – Art. 5: The insurance proposal and contract conditions shall inform, in accordance with the remaining requirements included in current regulation, the following:
I – the acceptance of the insurance proposal is subject to risk analysis;
II – product registration is automatic, and does not indicate approval nor recommendation from Susep; and
III – the policyholder may verify the status of both the insurance broker’s registration and the insurer’s registration at the website www.susep.gov.br.
